Clara received a terrifying call from her mother, who was sitting in handcuffs at the Westbridge Police Department. Her mother claimed that her daughter-in-law, Brooke, had attacked her with a baseball bat while Clara’s brother Arthur watched. Despite visible injuries to her shoulder, ribs, wrist, and eye, the police had arrested her instead of Brooke.
