Ingredients:
Ingredient Quantity
Breakfast sausage (mild or spicy) 1 lb
Cream cheese (softened) 8 oz
Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies (drained) 1 can (10 oz)
Shredded cheddar cheese 1 1/2 cups
Bisquick or self-rising flour 1 1/2 cups
Garlic powder (optional) 1 teaspoon
Onion powder (optional) 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper 1/4 teaspoon
Appetizer cookbook
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the sausage, cream cheese, Rotel, cheddar cheese, Bisquick, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Scoop out the sausage mixture and roll it into 1- to 1 1/2-inch balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
