My Husband Picks a New Hobby Every Month and Demands That I Sponsor Them – This Time I Had Enough

My husband’s hobby addiction was draining our finances and patience. When I took a secret vacation with my work bonus, I never expected how it would change everything.

Carter seemed perfect when we were dating, but after our wedding, his obsession with hobbies spiraled. It started with gourmet cooking. He exclaimed, “Abby, you won’t believe what I found!” and brought home fancy knives and gadgets. Weeks passed, and our kitchen turned into a maze of unused equipment. He moved on to brewing beer, using my Christmas bonus for equipment.

Next, he wanted a telescope, saying, “Can’t we use your tax refund?” I gave in, and it joined the graveyard of forgotten hobbies. Financial strain grew, and I struggled with bills. Carter’s new drone hobby was the final straw. I said, “Enough is enough.”

When I received a work bonus, I secretly booked a solo vacation. Carter called me selfish, but I needed to prioritize my happiness. The vacation helped me rediscover myself and gave me a new perspective on our relationship. Carter eventually realized his mistakes, and we began working towards a better future together.
