Baked Cod with Lemon and Garlic

Ingredients:

Fresh Cod Fillets 4 fillets (6-8 ounces each)
Unsalted Butter 2 tablespoons
Lemon 1 (half for juice, half sliced thinly)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
Garlic 3 cloves, minced finely
Fresh Parsley A handful, chopped
Salt To taste
Pepper To taste
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
Pat the cod fillets dry with a kitchen towel and place them in a greased baking dish.
Whisk together melted butter, lemon juice, olive oil, and minced garlic in a bowl.
Drizzle the prepared mixture over the cod fillets.
Season the fish with salt and pepper.
