My Childhood Bully Became My Coworker — She Started Bullying Me Again, but This Time I Taught Her a Lesson

When Casey starts her new job at a grocery store, she is hopeful for a fresh start. However, her optimism is shattered when she discovers her childhood bully, Amber, is her coworker. Amber immediately resumes her old ways, spreading malicious rumors about Casey. “Did you hear? Amber said Casey slept with Mr. Thompson to get the job,” whispered a coworker. Casey feels trapped and overwhelmed by her past fears.

Seeking advice, Casey’s mother-in-law suggests she write an email to Mr. Thompson detailing Amber’s harassment. Mr. Thompson takes the accusations seriously and calls a meeting. During the meeting, Casey bravely explains the harassment she has faced. “Ever since Amber started working here, she’s been spreading rumors about me,” Casey says. Her coworkers support her, confirming Amber’s behavior.

Mr. Thompson fires Amber, stating, “We do not tolerate harassment or bullying in this workplace.” Amber storms out, throwing a final insult at Casey. Despite the emotional turmoil, Casey feels a sense of relief and triumph. “You did it, babe,” her husband Dylan says proudly. Casey finally feels at peace, no longer defined by her past, and ready to build a hopeful future.
