Wildfires are ravaging through Los Angeles, as homes and property are being burned t

In the clip shared, reporter David Muir can be seen with thick clothes line pegs attached to the back of his jacket. This is a technique to pull back excess material and hold it in place to make the form of the jacket slimmer.

Making sure his figure looked good before reporting live from such a devastating scene will leave a bitter taste in the mouths of viewers.

Being called out for the vain practice, the internet sided with Osbourne’s critique of the journalist. The wildfires are a critical concern, as five of them roar through LA as we speak. Now is not the time to be adjusting your safety equipment.pleasant.

“@DavidMuir jeebus man….are you really this damn vain???” one asked, tagging the journalist into the reply.

“What an absolute tool,” writes another.

“I must look more buff in this video for all my 10’s of fans. Here’s some clothes pins, I always carry them with me. ?,” laughs another, highlighting the absurdity of the situation.

“He’s a fraud from head to toe. Basically a hair model reading a script,” slams another.

The wildfires continue to blaze, but at least our man David Muir is lookin’ fire.
