Groom Smashed My Wedding Cake Until My Older Brother Demanded Immediate Justice

Thirteen years ago my perfect wedding day shattered in seconds. I was twenty six years old when I met my future husband Ed inside a small coffee shop. I worked as a marketing assistant and noticed Ed ordering the same coffee every afternoon. He started guessing my drink orders as a game until he guessed correctly and bought my beverage. We bonded over long conversations and became engaged on a beautiful pier two years later. My older brother Ryan protected our family after our father passed away when I was eight and Ryan was twelve. Ryan observed my fiance during a family dinner and ultimately decided Ed was a respectful man who earned his approval. My wedding ceremony was a beautiful event filled with white roses and warm sunlight. My mother cried happy tears as I walked down the aisle while Ryan smiled proudly in his dark suit. I felt incredibly loved when we said our vows and kissed under an arch of flowers. I expected the traditional cake cutting ceremony to be a sweet moment filled with gentle laughter. Ed suddenly shifted his expression into a mischievous grin after we sliced our first piece of cake. Without warning he forcefully shoved my entire face into the wedding cake in front of one hundred twenty shocked guests. My bridal veil was crushed and my hair became plastered with thick buttercream frosting.I stood there covered in sugar and humiliation while Ed laughed loudly at his own terrible prank. Ryan immediately rose from his chair and crossed the dance floor with intense determination. Before my husband could react my brother grabbed the back of his head and drove his face directly into the cake. Ryan pressed him downward to ensure his tuxedo was completely ruined by the messy frosting. My protective brother firmly scolded Ed for humiliating his new wife on such an important day. He challenged my groom to consider how terrible the prank felt before advising me to carefully evaluate my marriage. Ed mumbled a complaint about the ruined reception and stormed out of the hall.
