I grew up on these, and I’m not sure why they aren’t more popular. This recipe is delicious and really easy to follow, especially for beginners.

Ingredients:

QUANTITY INGREDIENT
1 cup All-purpose flour
1 cup Milk
3 large Eggs
1/2 teaspoon Salt
As needed Vegetable oil or beef drippings

Equipment:

  • 12-cup muffin tin
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk

Instructions

1. Preheat and Heat the Tin
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the muffin tin in the oven to get it hot.

2. Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, and salt until smooth. Make sure there are no lumps for an even texture.
