Here’s why you shouldn’t go out at night after you’ve fallen asleep

You’ve probably settled into bed, only to be urged out for a night hangout. While it may seem harmless, regularly waking to go out after sleeping can affect your health and safety. After sleep, your senses are dulled, making you more prone to poor decisions or slow reactions. It also disrupts your sleep cycle, leading to fatigue, insomnia, or anxiety. Some even believe this in-between state leaves you spiritually vulnerable.

If you must go out, take precautions: fully wake up first, stretch, avoid driving, and stay alert. Prioritize getting back to sleep soon after.

Your well-being matters—so think twice before heading out after you’ve already started resting.
