Significant developments have emerged in the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Savannah Guthrie.

Over the past 24 hours, authorities have released previously unseen surveillance footage and confirmed that a man was briefly detained for questioning before being released without charges.
