Delicious Banana & Walnut Cream Cake

A rich, moist cake that’s perfect for special occasions or a sweet everyday treat. Ripe bananas, crunchy walnuts, sweet white chocolate chips, and smooth custard come together to make a dessert that’s both comforting and elegant.

Heavenly Banana Walnut Cream Cake

📝 Ingredients

All-purpose flour 2 cups sifted
Baking soda 1 teaspoon —
Salt ½ teaspoon —
Unsalted butter ½ cup softened
Granulated sugar 1 cup —
Eggs 2 large —
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon —
Sour cream ½ cup —
Bananas 3 ripe mashed
Walnuts ½ cup chopped
White chocolate chips ½ cup —
Creamy custard 2 cups for filling & topping
Banana 1 sliced, for garnish
Walnuts ¼ cup whole or halved, for garnish
👩‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.

Step 2: Prepare Dry Ingredients
Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.Step 4: Add Bananas & Sour Cream
Mix in sour cream and mashed bananas until smooth.

Step 5: Combine Wet & Dry
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Gently fold in walnuts and white chocolate chips.

Step 6: Bake
Divide batter evenly between pans. Bake 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 7: Cool
Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 8: Assemble
Spread half of the custard over one cake layer. Top with the second layer and cover with remaining custard.

Step 9: Garnish & Serve
Decorate with banana slices and walnuts. Serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready.
