These simple, no-bake bars are a homemade take on the classic chocolate candy bar. Crispy rice cereal meets a fudgy blend of melted chocolate, peanut butter, and maple syrup for a crunchy, indulgent treat.

Chocolate chips 1½ cups
Peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter) 1 cup
Maple syrup ½ cup
Coconut oil (or grass-fed butter) ÂĽ cup
👩‍🍳 How to Make Homemade Crunch Bars

Step 1: Prep Pan and Cereal
Line an 8Ă—8-inch baking dish (or similar) with parchment paper.
Place 3 cups of crispy rice cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside.

Step 2: Melt Chocolate Mixture
In a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil.
Heat until melted, then whisk until smooth and fully combined.Step 3: Combine and Chill
Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and stir until every piece is coated.
Transfer to the lined baking dish and refrigerate until firm—at least 1 hour.

Step 4: Cut and Serve
Lift the chilled mixture from the dish using the parchment paper and cut into bars.

To Store: Keep bars in a sealed container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
To Freeze: Wrap individual bars in parchment paper, place in ziplock bags, and freeze for up to 6 months.
