Caramel Cream Cheese Bread

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Flour 2 cups
Sugar 1 ½ cups
Unsalted butter, room temperature 1 cup (2 sticks)
Cream cheese, room temperature 1 (8 oz.) package
Eggs, room temperature 4
Caramel topping ½ cup
Vanilla extract 1 ½ teaspoons
Cinnamon 1 ½ teaspoons
Baking soda 1 ½ teaspoons
Salt ½ teaspoon

How To Make Caramel Cream Cheese Bread:

  1. Step 1: Prep & Mix Wet Ingredients: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans with butter or non-stick spray. In a large bowl or mixer, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar. One at a time, beat in the eggs and then the vanilla extract.
  2. Step 2: Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until well combined. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just incorporated.
  3. Step 3: Layer the Loaves: Pour ¼ of the batter into each greased baking dish. Spoon ¼ cup of the caramel topping on top of the batter in each pan and gently swirl, keeping it away from the edges of the pan. Gently add the remaining batter on top of the caramel layers.
  4. Step 4: Bake & Serve: Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving. Enjoy!
