Banana Pecan Cake with Vanilla Glaze

1. Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan (8×8 or 9-inch round works well).

2. Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Add eggs, sugar, and oil. Whisk until fully combined.

3. Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

4. Make the Batter
Fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined. Stir in chopped pecans.

5. Bake
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely before glazing.

6. Prepare the Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and pourable.

7. Finish & Serve
Drizzle glaze over the cooled cake. Slice and enjoy!
