I Visited My Pregnant Sister, and When I Saw How Her Husband Treated Her, I Taught Him a Lesson

When I arrived at my pregnant sister Lily’s house, I was shocked to see her husband, Mark, treating her like a servant. Lily, nine months pregnant, looked exhausted as she cooked and cleaned while Mark gamed upstairs.

The next morning, I confronted Mark about helping out. He scoffed, “It’s a woman’s job, you know?” Infuriated, I challenged him to do everything Lily did for a day, betting I’d become his maid if he succeeded. He laughed and accepted.

I prepared a watermelon “pregnancy simulator” for Mark, who found the chores far harder than he anticipated. Struggling to vacuum and do laundry with the watermelon belly, he quickly became exhausted and defeated.

By evening, Mark admitted, “I can’t do it. I give up!” Realizing the extent of Lily’s daily sacrifices, he apologized sincerely.

From that day, Mark changed. He helped with chores, supported Lily, and was there for her when their baby girl was born. Watching him cradle their daughter, I knew my crazy bet had worked. Mark became the devoted husband and father Lily and their child deserved.
