“I’m pregnant. The father doesn’t want anything to do with the baby, so I’m going to take a year off from school to have the baby, and then I’ll see about returning,” Caroline finally revealed.
“WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING? No! This is absolutely not happening! You are not leaving school! You have to get rid of that baby!” her mother, Alice, jumped up from her seat and yelled.
“Alice, sit and calm down. Let’s talk,” Caroline’s dad, Daniel, interrupted.
“Mom! No! I’m keeping it. I’ve already decided this,” Caroline disagreed, and Alice began shouting again.
“THEN YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IN THIS HOUSE ANYMORE! GET OUT! GET OUT NOW!”
