West Virginia Residents Baffled Over Mystery Animal Spotted In Park – Here’s What Experts Say👇

Note: we are republishing this story which originally made the news in November 2024. Mysterious Creature Spotted Walking with Deer in West Virginia Park. In late October 2024, Brittany Keller caught a strange animal on video in Huntington’s Ritter Park that had locals puzzled. The creature was seen walking alongside a group of deer but looked unlike anything usual in the area.

After sharing the footage, speculation ran wild. Some thought it might be a lemur, but experts quickly dismissed this since lemurs are native only to Madagascar. Animal specialist Andy McKee suggested it was likely a fox suffering from mange—a skin disease that can drastically alter an animal’s appearance.

Around the same time in England, the Bristol Zoo Project posted a mysterious photo of a winged and horned creature beside a muntjac deer in their ancient woodland. The zoo asked the public for help identifying it.

These strange sightings remind us that nature still holds many mysteries, leaving communities in both West Virginia and the UK wondering what really roams the wild.
