WATCH: Melania Steals the Spotlight with Her Own ‘YMCA’ Dance in Viral Mar-A-Lago Video

The star-studded New Year’s Eve celebration at Mar-a-Lago included notable guests such as Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his family, Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and his wife Usha, and Donald Trump Jr. with his new girlfriend, Bettina Anderson. Lara Trump, the president-elect’s daughter-in-law, captivated the crowd with a powerful rendition of Tom Petty’s classic “I Won’t Back Down”, prompting Trump and the pro-MAGA attendees to sing along enthusiastically.

Prior to entering the event, President-elect Trump addressed reporters, confirming he would attend the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter. When asked about his New Year’s resolutions, Trump used the opportunity to express his well-wishes to the nation. “I just want everybody to be happy, healthy, and well,” he said.

Melania Trump faced a challenging 2024, marked by the loss of her mother and culminating in a victorious re-election, securing four more years in the White House.

During this eventful year, she also guided her youngest son,

Barron, as he made the pivotal decision to attend New York University’s Stern School of Business. This milestone sets up the 6’9″ freshman, the only son of Melania and President-elect Donald Trump, to follow in the family’s footsteps in real estate and politics—or to forge his own unique path.

“He’s a grown young man, and I’m very proud of him—his knowledge, even about politics, and his advice to his father,” Melania shared about Barron’s involvement in the campaign.

“He brought in so many young people. He knows his generation. Nowadays, young people don’t sit in front of the TV anymore; they’re on tablets, phones, and streaming platforms.”

She praised Barron’s insights and contributions, saying, “He was very vocal and gave advice to his father. It was incredible how he brought success by knowing exactly who his father needed to reach out to and engage with.”
