Tom Cruise branded “man child” by co-star over alleged onset behavior

Tom Cruise has been in the movie business for decades. The fact that he is doing his own, dangerous stunts, has left many impressed. However, there are things that the Mission Impossible star isn’t that good at. At least according to his co-star Rebecca Ferguson, who now brands Tom Cruise a “man-child.”

No one can say that Tom Cruise isn’t passionate about his work. The 63-year-old actor is known for doing many of his stunts on his own, especially in the Mission: Impossible franchise.

Stunts have included being strapped to the side of an airplane and jumping off a cliff on a motorcycle. What comes next in Tom Cruise’s daredevil way of making movies, time will tell.

The Mission: Impossible franchise has been a huge success for Tom Cruise, and many actors have gotten big breaks and prominent roles in the many films. However, working with Tom on these films has also had their challenges.

Now, actress Rebecca Ferguson, who played Ilsa Faust in the franchise but was killed off in the 2023 film Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, has revealed that shooting with Cruise was quite tricky due to the stunts, as scripts could change in a minute.

Moreover, it also led to Tom Cruise often turning up late to the set, she told The Times.

“You don’t have scripts and have no idea where it’s going to go, which is annoying and tedious and glorious,” Ferguson said. “You train for a stunt scene for months, and all of a sudden, they cut it.

She continued to call Tom Cruise a “man-child,” but in a “good way” because of this one reason,

I often joke that there’s someone with a tranquilliser gun and a net looking for him,” she continued. “It’s frustrating because you’re ready to shoot and the sun’s going down. Tom goes: ‘What are we waiting for?’ and I go: ‘You!’ And he laughs and goes.
