INGREDIENT QUANTITY
Ground Italian sausage 1 pound
Sliced bell peppers 1 cup
Sliced mushrooms 1 cup
Marinara sauce (sugar-free) 1 cup
Shredded mozzarella cheese 2 cups
Sliced black olives ½ cup
Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon
Red pepper flakes (optional) ¼ teaspoon
Fresh basil leaves For garnish

1️⃣ Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2️⃣ Cook Sausage: In a large skillet, brown the ground Italian sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
3️⃣ Sauté Vegetables: Add sliced bell peppers and mushrooms to the skillet, cooking for about 5 minutes until tender.
4️⃣ Add Sauce & Seasoning: Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if desired). Simmer briefly to let the flavors blend.
5️⃣ Assemble Bowls: Evenly divide the sausage and vegetable mixture among four oven-safe bowls.
6️⃣ Top with Cheese & Olives: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and sliced black olives over each bowl.
7️⃣ Bake: Place bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
