Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Fruit Cake

This simple, yet delicious fruit cake is perfect for the holiday season. Made with just four ingredients and slow-cooked to perfection, it’s moist, flavorful, and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Mixed dried fruit (raisins, currants, sultanas, chopped dried apricots) 2 cups
Self-raising flour 1 1/2 cups
Fruit juice (orange or apple) 1 cup
Brown sugar 1/4 cup
Instructions:

Prepare Slow Cooker: Lightly grease or line the slow cooker with parchment paper.
Soak Dried Fruit: Combine dried fruit and fruit juice in a bowl. Let sit for 30 minutes.
Mix Batter: Add brown sugar to the fruit mixture and stir. Gradually fold in self-raising flour.Cook Fruit Cake:
Pour batter into the slow cooker.
Cover with a lid and a clean kitchen towel to absorb condensation.
Cook on low for 2.5-3 hours, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Let cool in the slow cooker for 15 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
