She was one of Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses, but today she is unrecognizable

Amy Adams was recently spotted in Los Angeles filming scenes for her new movie *Nightb***h*. Dressed in a striped shirt, wide trousers, and brown Birkenstocks, the actress appeared far from her usual red-carpet glam.

In one scene, she punched her co-star Scoot McNairy, though she didn’t seem angry—rather, she wore a “look of regret.” The pair were later seen holding hands while the cameras rolled, with Amy smiling warmly afterward.

The film’s plot, as *Variety* reports, revolves around “a suburban housewife pushed into the stay-at-home routine of raising a child” who begins to suspect she’s turning into a dog. The movie also features Ella Thomas and Garrett C. Phillips.

Amy, who shares a 12-year-old daughter, Aviana, with her husband Darren Le Gallo, juggles her demanding career with family life.

Her appearance comes after Christian Bale revealed he acted as a “mediator” between Amy and director David O. Russell on the set of *American Hustle*. Leaked emails alleged that David “abused” Amy during filming, leaving her “devastated.”
