My Father Abandoned Me as a Child and I Took Revenge on Him – Story of the Day

Amanda’s father abandoned the family when she was an infant. Resentful all her life, her anger resurfaced upon seeing a photo of him with his new fiancée. She wanted revenge.

After a long day at work, Amanda returned to her childhood home, a sanctuary filled with memories of her deceased mother. Upon seeing a newspaper, she discovered an announcement of her father’s engagement. The pain of his abandonment resurfaced, and she devised a plan to teach him a lesson.

The next morning, Amanda snuck into her father’s house and planted an earring in his bed. Later, she confronted his fiancée, pretending to be his lover. Chaos ensued, and the fiancée called off the wedding.

However, Amanda soon realized revenge wasn’t the answer. She visited her father again, revealing her identity. They had an emotional conversation, and Amanda finally understood his guilt and regret. Forgiving him, they began to heal their fractured relationship.
