Maple-Pecan Flatbread with Caramelized Apple & Brie

Ingredients:

Flatbread & Topping:
2 flatbreads or pizza crusts
(about 250 g)
1 large apple, thinly sliced
(150 g)
1 tablespoon butter
(15 g)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
(30 ml)
6 oz brie cheese, sliced
(170 g)
1/3 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
(40 g)

Optional Garnish:
Fresh thyme or arugula

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F / 200°C. Melt butter in a skillet, sauté apple slices with maple syrup until lightly caramelized.

Place flatbreads on a baking sheet. Arrange brie and caramelized apples on top, sprinkle with pecans.

Bake 12–15 minutes until flatbread is crisp and cheese is melted.

Garnish and serve warm.
