Leaked DSA Documents Reveal How NYC’s New Socialist Mayor Is Being Pressured to Push an Anti-Israel Agenda

New York City’s political landscape just took a shocking turn. Internal documents obtained by Just the News expose how the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) plan to push newly elected Mayor Zohran Mamdani into implementing sweeping anti-Israel measures across city government and public life.

Mamdani, a 34-year-old socialist and the city’s first Muslim mayor, rose to power after defeating former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa. His victory speech promised a “historic mandate for change” — but leaked DSA files suggest a far more radical vision is in play.

The documents, originating from DSA’s Anti-War Working Group, detail plans to turn City Hall into what they call “a testing ground for socialist and anti-Israel policies.” Among the group’s demands:

  • Divest city pension funds from Israeli bonds and securities.

  • End contracts with any companies doing business with Israel.

  • Withdraw city funds from banks linked to Israel.

  • Launch “city-run grocery stores” free from Israeli products.

  • Investigate real estate agents tied to land deals in the West Bank.

  • Remove nonprofit status from charities supporting the IDF.

  • “Arrest Netanyahu and active IDF soldiers for war crimes.”

Mamdani has long had ties to the DSA, having served as one of nine “New York State Socialists in Office.” During his campaign, he tried to distance himself from their more extreme positions — but insiders say the organization’s New York chapter provided “public cover” to make him appear moderate until election day.

A resurfaced video from 2023 shows Mamdani speaking at a DSA conference, declaring: “When the boot of the NYPD is on your neck, it has been laced by the IDF.” Critics say this remark reveals where his loyalties truly lie.

Now, with City Hall under new leadership, many New Yorkers are asking: will the nation’s largest city become the next battleground for the DSA’s anti-Israel movement?
