Police say the girl was riding in a go-kart with another adult when another cart slammed into them. Emma was airlifted to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital but died from her injuries the following morning.
Urban Air Adventure Park shut down as an investigation is ongoing. Per WPTV, A state inspector with the Florida Department of Agriculture visited the facility on Monday.They oversee go-kart tracks, as they fall under their jurisdiction for carnival rides. What went wrong and how it could’ve happened in the first place are just two of many questions being asked.

According to CBS12, the parent company for this particular fun park has been sued and settled multiple times in the past. One former case involved a 10-year-old who fell 20 feet off a zipline but luckily survived. Urban Air has not yet provided a comment on the fatal accident that occurred this past weekend.
