I Discovered My Mom’s New Boyfriend Wanted to Extort Money from Her — I Taught Him a Brilliant Lesson

Blake suspected his mom’s new boyfriend, Travis, was trouble. “Mom, I really don’t trust him. He seems like trouble,” he confided. His mom reassured him, saying, “Give him a chance. He’s trying.” Despite her words, Blake remained uneasy.

One evening, Blake overheard Travis on the phone: “She has no clue! Once I get the money, I’ll call you right away!” Realizing Travis planned to swindle his mom, Blake devised a plan. He created a fake call using a voice modulation app, impersonating a police chief, and warned Travis about his fraudulent activities. “Just know that this call is a final warning. Is that clear?” Blake said.

The next morning, Travis, visibly shaken, left the house, claiming he had business out of town. Blake then went to the police station and confessed everything to Chief Roberts. The chief warned Blake about the risks but decided to investigate.

Travis was arrested when he arrived at the station, confirming Blake’s suspicions. Blake’s mom, grateful, hugged him tightly, saying, “Thank you, Blake. You saved me from making a terrible mistake.” Blake promised, “I’ll always protect you, Mom.”
