FBI Releases Photo of Person of Interest After Charlie Kirk Assassination

Utah — One day after the fatal shooting of political activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University, the FBI has released a photo of a person of interest connected to the attack.

The grainy image, shared on X, shows a young man wearing a hoodie and carrying a backpack. Federal agents are urging the public to help identify him, stressing that even the smallest tip could prove critical.

  1. Kirk, 31, was shot during a Q&A session on campus in what investigators now believe was a carefully planned attack. The photo represents the first major lead in the manhunt, and the FBI says information from the community may be key to locating the suspect.
