1½–2 lbs (680–900g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom)
1 cup (240ml) chicken broth
½ cup (120ml) heavy cream or half-and-half
1 (1 oz) packet dry ranch seasoning mix (or Italian herb blend)
Optional:
3 cloves garlic, minced
