I Only Live with My 7-Year-Old Son Dylan After My Wife Passed Away, and Recently, Something Bizarre Started Happening

Since my wife passed away, it’s just been me and my son, Dylan. We’ve done our best to move forward, but grief has a strange way of lingering in quiet corners of the house.

Recently, though, something bizarre began to happen. Late at night, Dylan would wake up and tell me he’d been talking to “Mommy.” I chalked it up to dreams… until I heard the lullaby she used to sing, softly echoing through the hallway.

Then came the drawings—Dylan, me, and a woman who looked exactly like her, all holding hands, dated just days ago. But no one had shown him her old photos.

One evening, as I tucked him in, he whispered, “She says she’s proud of you.”

I don’t know what’s real and what’s imagination. But whether it’s a child’s way of healing or something beyond what I understand, I’ve come to find comfort in the mystery. Somehow, it feels like she’s still watching over us.
