Cream Cheese Cake

This simple Cream Cheese Cake is a rich, dense, and wonderfully moist dessert. Unlike a traditional cheesecake, this cake is baked with a lighter, more cake-like texture. It’s perfect on its own, but also pairs beautifully with fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, or a dusting of powdered sugar.

Ingredients:
Ingredient Quantity
Cream cheese, at room temperature 8 oz (1 block)
Granulated sugar ¾ cup
All-purpose flour ½ cup
Large eggs 2
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Unsalted butter, melted ¼ cup
How To Make Cream Cheese Cake:
Step 1: Prep & Preheat: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare a round cake pan (8 or 9 inches) by greasing and flouring it.
Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add sugar and beat until well combined. Mix in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract and melted butter until the batter is smooth.
Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the batter.Step 4: Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 5: Cool & Serve: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, slice it into wedges and serve with your favorite toppings.
