My SIL and Her Family Moved in with Us & Made Me Her Maid, So I Brought Her Down to Earth

When Linda and her family arrived on our doorstep, claiming she had cancer and nowhere else to go, we welcomed them in without hesitation. “Lisa, we need your help,” Linda said, voice trembling. “I have cancer.” However, as her demands grew and tensions mounted, I overheard a shocking truth that would turn our home upside down.

Linda quickly transformed our home into her kingdom, issuing orders like a queen. “Lisa, could you take care of the kids today? I’m too tired,” she’d say, while lounging on the couch. The burden fell on me, and the house descended into chaos.

Late one night, I overheard Linda and Martin. “Linda, this has gone on long enough. We need to tell them the truth,” Martin said. Linda snapped, “Shut up, Martin. They’re buying it. We need a place to stay.” I was furious.

The next morning, I exposed her during a party she had planned to thank everyone for their support. “Linda has been lying. She’s not sick. There’s no cancer. It’s all been a manipulation to take advantage of our hospitality.” James stepped forward, “We know the truth, Linda. Lisa heard you and Martin talking. This is over.” They left in shame, and we reclaimed our home, stronger and united.
