Trump Issues Scathing Response After Shocking Approval Ratings Reveal What America Really Thinks of Him 10 Months Into Presidency!

Ten months into his presidency, Donald Trump is confronting a harsh political reality — new polling numbers that deliver one of the sharpest blows to a sitting president in modern American history. The data, released early Tuesday by several major polling agencies, show Trump’s approval rating plummeting to 34%, with a staggering 61% of Americans expressing disapproval of his performance.

The figures paint a picture of a deeply fractured nation — and, by all accounts, they’ve ignited fury inside the West Wing.

Within hours of the numbers going public, Trump launched into a full-scale counterattack online. “The polls are a joke,” he posted on X (formerly Twitter). “Fake numbers from fake pollsters. The REAL numbers are incredible, and the people know it!” Minutes later, he followed up with another post: “FAKE POLLS! Just more made-up numbers from people who hate America. We’re WINNING — big time.”

The outburst mirrored a familiar pattern — one that’s defined Trump’s relationship with unfavorable data since the 2016 campaign. When confronted with bad news, he doesn’t retreat. He reframes, denies, and turns it into ammunition.

But this time, the numbers are worse than anything his team has faced before.

A Presidency Under Pressure

According to Gallup and multiple independent surveys, Trump’s approval rating now sits lower than nearly every modern president at this point in office — including George W. Bush during the Iraq fallout and Barack Obama amid the 2010 recession hangover. Only Jimmy Carter, at his lowest point, came close to similar disapproval levels.

Among independent voters, the numbers are even more alarming. Trump’s approval among that crucial demographic has dropped below 30%, with nearly two-thirds expressing strong disapproval. That collapse threatens to undercut any path to re-election — especially as swing states grow increasingly volatile.

“He’s losing the middle,” said Dr. Ian Roberts, a political analyst and historian. “And modern elections are won or lost in the middle. These are catastrophic numbers for any incumbent.”
