Trump Issues Stunning Announcement About ‘the Left’ After Kirk Shooting

President Donald Trump suggested over the weekend that left-wing organizations and individuals are “under investigation” following last week’s shocking assassination of conservative youth influencer and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk

Trump, speaking to reporters in New Jersey before departing for his Bedminster golf resort, said, “You know, they’re already under major investigation. … A lot of the people that you would traditionally say, ‘they’re on the left.’”

A reporter asked Trump to clarify: “They’re already under investigation?” to which the president responded: “Already under investigation.”

Meanwhile, a source familiar with the investigation into Kirk’s assassination told Fox News Digital that the FBI is examining leftist groups in Utah for possible ties to the alleged shooter.

“The source told Fox News Digital that the FBI is investigating the leftist groups to see if they knew about the alleged shooter’s plans beforehand or provided any assistance to him. The source did not elaborate on which groups are being investigated,” the outlet reported, adding that Axios was the first media outlet to report the development.

“We must take every step to follow the money and uncover the force behind the NGOs, donors, media, public officials, and all entities driving this coordinated attack,” Roy wrote, citing the 2024 assassination attempt on President Donald Trump and the 2017 congressional baseball shooting as part of a broader pattern of violence against conservatives.

If formed, the committee would have subpoena power and focus on organizations such as Antifa and donors like George Soros, who has long been a target of Republican criticism.

“Political violence of any kind is unacceptable, no matter who commits it,” said Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C. “But let’s not pretend this is an even playing field. In recent years, we’ve seen organized and well-funded efforts from the radical left to
