Paul has a teenage kid from his first marriage, and I have an 18-year-old son named Jude from a past relationship.
Paul and Jude have a close relationship that has grown over time. He has been Jude’s encouraging stepfather, helping with homework, going to school meetings, and sharing in Jude’s accomplishments.
I always believed that mutual respect and understanding were the foundation of our blended family’s success. But I recently encountered an unforeseen obstacle.
