Homeless lady given free ‘ugly’ abandoned trailer, but wait till you see what she made of it

Homesteading, a lifestyle focused on self-sufficiency through agriculture, food preservation, and crafting, has gained popularity for its low-cost living benefits.

One woman embracing this lifestyle is Mama V, who left city life behind to pursue her dream of living in the woods. She initially moved into a mini-school bus with her cats and dogs, but space became an issue.

When a neighbor offered her an old trailer for free, Mama V gratefully accepted and sold her bus to fund renovations. Although the trailer needed work, it was structurally sound and already included essentials like a kitchen, bathroom, propane tanks, and storage.

With help from her friends Jayme and Kevin, she cleaned it up and began transforming it into a cozy home. Once settled, Mama V plans to start a garden and fully live off the land. She’s thankful for her supportive neighbors and excited for this new chapter with her beloved pets.
