Poor circulation, such as in Raynaud’s phenomenon, and nerve compression due to cysts or tumors are other potential factors. Infections like shingles or Lyme disease can affect nerve function. While occasional tingling is usually harmless, persistent symptoms require medical attention to rule out serious conditions.
