Gordon Ramsay shares important message after potentially fatal accident

Gordon Ramsay credits a helmet for saving his life after a serious bike accident in Connecticut. The celebrity chef took to social media over Father’s Day weekend to share his ordeal, still shaken a week later.

“This week I had a really bad accident while riding my bike in Connecticut,” Ramsay wrote. “I’m doing ok and did not break any bones or suffer any major injuries but I am a bit bruised up looking like a purple potato.”

Ramsay, an avid cyclist, emphasized the importance of wearing a helmet regardless of the journey’s length or cost, calling them “crucial.”

“I’m lucky to be standing here. I’m in pain. It’s been a brutal week, and I’m sort of getting through it,” Ramsay said, showing a massive bruise on his torso.

Ramsay’s experience serves as a powerful reminder to always wear a helmet.
