Clinton In Hot Water For Insulting Comment About Trump, U.S. Army Parade

Hillary Clinton faced backlash online after criticizing a military parade held by former President Donald Trump to mark the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary. Clinton shared photos of the Washington, D.C. event alongside images of “No Kings Day” protests across the country.

In her X (formerly Twitter) post, she wrote: “Compare and contrast scenes from yesterday in America,” referring to the \$45 million parade as Trump’s “low-energy Dear Leader parade.” Clinton turned off replies to the post, prompting further criticism. While Clinton condemned the parade, critics pointed out that she spent the weekend attending the lavish Hamptons wedding of her longtime aide, Huma Abedin, who married Alex Soros, son of billionaire George Soros. Photos and reports confirmed the presence of major Democratic figures such as Bill Clinton, Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi at the event.

Clinton’s remarks and timing sparked outrage among Trump supporters and conservatives, who accused her of showing disrespect toward the military. Several X users called her post tone-deaf and accused her of hypocrisy, citing her actions during the 2012 Benghazi attack. Others mocked her for attacking a military tribute while mingling with political elites and celebrities in luxury. The “No Kings Day” protests, held in over 2,000 cities, coincided with the parade and expressed opposition to authoritarianism and immigration raids. However, critics argue Clinton’s commentary revealed political bias and disdain for patriotic celebrations. Her post reignited long-standing political tensions and polarized reactions across social media.
